Bad Penny Entertainment was launched in early 2017 with a view to producing 4 to 6 feature films in the next four years. We have teamed up with some of the acting professions household names and academy award winning directors to bring you some of the most bankable film investments available for both Equity and SEIS/EIS investment.

From a creative perspective, the company has joined forces with Axel Kuschevatzky­ head of production and development at Telefonica. Axel has overseen some of the most prestigious and profitable films in the history of Argentinean cinema. Axel also has a worldwide network of writers, directors, and producers that will give Bad Penny Entertainment a greater reach and understanding of the international market than the majority of its peers.

Phin has produced two features in 2016. The first of which Mad to be Normal, from director Robert Mullan,starred David Tennant, Elisabeth Moss, Michael Gambon and Gabriel Byrne and told the story of noted,and controversial,Scottish Psychiatrist RD Laing and his infamous Kingsley Hall experiments of the 1970s.

The second feature,which has just wrapped, is You, Me and Him a comedy set in Stratford Upon Avon which deals with the nature of relationships pushed to their breaking point by the imminent arrival of not one but two babies.

He is due to produce the period drama Diamond Geezers in the summer of 2017 from Bafta nominated director Shona Auerbach.His first feature was with Academy Award winning director Juan Jose Campanella on the family animation The Unbeatables starring Rupert Grint and Rob Brydon.

Georgia Tennant


Georgia began her career nearly 20 years ago. Spending a large portion of that time as an actress (credited as Moffett) with credits including ‘Dr. Who’, ‘Miss Marple’, ‘The Bill’ and ‘White Van Man’ she has spent the last 5 years adding writing and producing to her CV.

Producing credits include ‘The Fiveish Doctors reboot’ on which she collaborated with the BBC and was nominated for a Hugo award and the short film ‘ 96 Ways to Say I Love You’ written & Directed by Daisy Aitkens and starring Joel Fry, Nina Sosanya, and David Tennant.

Her first feature film with Bad Penny was You, Me and Him and she’s hard at work on development of both the Bad Penny slate and director Daisy Aitken’s next project.
